Modernizing Infrastructure for ICTSolidServices
A multi-server infrastructure upgrade for ICTSolidServices and Terborgh School Community, including core Windows services and technical documentation.
Sep 2017 – Dec 2017
Acting as an IT consultant for virtual service provider ICTSolidServices, I led an infrastructure overhaul for the Terborgh School Community (TSC). The client was operating on an end-of-life Windows Server 2003 environment that hindered cloud integration and modern security standards.
Following the Waterfall methodology, I managed the project lifecycle from initial planning to final deployment. I authored comprehensive Functional and Technical Designs before engineering a modern multi-server architecture from the ground up. The implementation included active Domain Controllers (DCs and RODCs), an Exchange environment, and Windows Server Core installations. I configured essential network services—including Remote Access/VPN, WDS, Terminal Services, automated backups, and secure network shares. I delivered complete technical documentation detailing all configurations to ensure smooth future maintenance.
