To prepare fictitious company NerdyGadgets for international expansion, my team and I addressed critical infrastructure and operational bottlenecks. The existing setup suffered from severe downtime (70% availability), lacked IPv6 support, and incurred high product return costs.
- High Availability: Engineered a future-proof architecture incorporating load balancing across all web servers, database servers, and network layers to achieve 99.99% availability.
- Global Readiness: Implemented full IPv6 connectivity across the web infrastructure.
- Process Optimization: Modeled and optimized the end-to-end product return workflow using BPMN, driving down overhead costs.
