Stugether Student Matching Application

A team-built desktop application helping students connect based on shared interests, values, and circumstances.

Stugether was created by me together with 4 other developers during a six-week challenge at Windesheim University of Applied Sciences. The application helps students from different universities find connections based on interests, values, age, university, and location, whether they are looking for a study partner or a broader social connection.

There has been increasing concern about the mental well-being of students due to the COVID-19 pandemic, with loneliness being the most common complaint at 80%. We believe that this is a alarming statistic and have taken the initiative to develop an application that connects students.

We developed the desktop application from scratch, producing functional and technical designs and a test plan while working with Agile Scrum.
