Transforming Communication at Van der Sluis with SharePoint
A cloud-based SharePoint intranet for sharing company news, meeting records, safety documents, and staff resources.

Within the Van der Sluis Technische Bedrijven (VDS) there was a need for a platform where newsletters and meeting reports for personnel could be shared both in the office and in the field. As part of my internship, I realized the following through the PRINCE2 project-based approach:
- Replacement of current intranet with new intranet based on SharePoint in the Office 365 Cloud;
- Made it possible to centrally place and consult safety documents, toolboxes, etc;
- Centralized availability of newsletters for VDS staff;
- Made meeting reports centrally available;
- Modelled permission structure for consulting and placing content on the Intranet;
- Implemented possibility to make content available to appointed persons outside the domain;
- Made contact book available to all staff.
